Basketball shoes – Ensure that your child comes to camp with a well fitting pair of shoes that he/she can run and jump in for extended periods of time.

Athletic clothing – Campers should wear clothes that are loose fitting and appropriate for physical activity. Shorts and a t-shirt are strongly recommended.

Shorts - All Campers must wear black shorts.

Medical necessities – If your child requires an inhaler, epinephrine auto-injector or other life saving medication, he/she must bring these items with them each day they attend camp. The medicine should contain its original labeling and instructions for use.

On the first day of camp, please give any medications and instructions for use to the camp’s director at the registration table.

Lunch – Please make arrangements for your child to have lunch each day. They can be sent with bagged lunch or, alternatively, that can be spent at the concession.

Positive Attitude – Your child will work with a variety of coaches and campers while learning new skills. To get the most out of the camp, they should come ready to learn, work hard and have fun.

What NOT to Bring to Camp:

Peanut Related Foods – Please avoid sending your child with peanuts/nuts/peanut butter/etc. Nut allergy reactions can be very severe. Therefore, in an effort to avoid serious medical complications and other nut related allergic reactions, we ask that you do not send your child with such foot items. This ensures safety and an enjoyable experience for all campers.

Electronics and Valuables – Cell phones, video games and other electronics should be left at home. There is nowhere to store these valuable items safely, nor is their time to engage with such items during the course of the camp. Additionally, campers should not bring jewelry of any kind with them to camp. They cannot wear it during drills and games and cannot store it safely. All other valuables should be left at home as well. The Iconic Camp is not responsible for any items of this nature that are brought to camp and lost/stolen/etc.
